Hand Engraved Sterling Silver FrameThis beautiful Baroque revival sterling frame was chosen by a customer to be engraved with her initials. The center medallion was damaged and too thin to be engraved. We soldered a new thicker piece of sterling silver in its place to make it possible to engrave.
Here at Chelsea we do both simple and full porcelain and ceramic restoration. This vase is actually a lamp that broke and is in the process of being fully restored- once finished, you won't be able to tell it ever broke. The next step will be to fill in the cracking, and then hand paint the fills with color matched paints. There are a lot of steps left to get this piece looking like new, but it's looking a lot better than it was.
